As fun, and funny, as it is to keep responding to the Republican/Fox News misconstruction of President Obama’s stump speech (yes, imagine that, they edited his words in a way that creates the message they want to pretend he said…not the one he actually said!) it’s just a distraction.
Every post that responds to the conservative attempt at making this a story - indeed helps make it become a story and it takes away from the real story - Romney’s sketchy time at Bain and his refusal to release his income taxes.
Don’t take your eyes of those proverbial balls for a second. If you do, they win. He who controls the narrative wins the race. Don’t give them the control.
And Fox News has yet to update their website. According to them, the ruling is still coming…please stand by…
The Federal Communications Commission should move to prohibit Murdoch from owning television stations in the United States.
The licensing system for TV and radio stations in the U.S. requires that their owners be of good character. It also mandates that only U.S. citizens hold a major interest in a station —the reason why Murdoch became a U.S. citizen in 1985 as he moved to create a U.S.-based media empire.
I just need to know, if you are a Fox News viewer, how do you not feel that your intelligence is being insulted???
To put it another way, what is it that Fox News does that makes you think they respect your intelligence and treat you like a reasonably smart individual? Feel free to respond here or in the ask box. I’ll be waiting anxiously.
